Yakima City Clerk Rosalinda Ibarra administers the oath of office for Vicki Baker during the City Council meeting on Aug. 5th. Baker is Yakima’s new City Manager.

Mayor Patricia Byers distributes City of Yakima pins to students from Itayanagi, Japan. Itayanagi has been Yakima’s sister city since 1972. On July 31st, the City received a delegation from Itayanagi that included about 20 people, including Mayor Taketo Kasai, other city officials, teachers and students.
