Yakima Police Officer Hailie Myers stands guard in front of the fallen officers memorial on Wednesday, May 13th, during a ceremony to observe Peace Officers Memorial Day.

The observance included raising and lowering a flag to half-staff, posting a memorial wreath and displaying names of the 146 law enforcement officers and 25 K9 officers lost in the line of duty in 2019.
