Remembering U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Joe Michael Jackson of White Swan this week leading up to Memorial Day. Lance Corporal Jackson was killed in action while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Lance Corporal Jackson is one of the many fallen heroes that lie in rest at Yakima’s Tahoma Cemetery War Veterans Memorial.
