Project to Close 5th Avenue Southbound
Fifth Avenue will be closed southbound Tuesday, November 5th, at the Fruitvale Boulevard roundabout. The closure will be in effect from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday for work to replace two manhole covers. A detour route for southbound traffic will be available on 6th Avenue. N. 4th Street Permanently Closed Between MLK Jr. Blvd and Lincoln Ave
Effective today, Monday, North 4th Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue is permanently closed to through traffic. The Yakima City Council on June 18th approved a request submitted on behalf of the Catholic Bishop of Yakima to vacate North 4th Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and E. Lincoln Avenue.

Project to Close Lower Cowiche Creek Trail
The Lower Cowiche Creek Trail along Cowiche Canyon Road, approximately from Powerhouse Road to Cowiche Canyon Lane, will be closed for two weeks starting tomorrow, Saturday, November 2nd.
