Air Stagnation Advisory Issued for Yakima Area

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an air stagnation advisory for the Yakima area that is in effect through 12:00 pm on Friday, November 30th. Yakima Transit Providing Free Shuttle Service to Luminaria

Harman Center Hosting Lego Winter Village Contest

Pictures with Santa, a hot cocoa bar and holiday crafts will be offered during the City of Yakima Harman Center’s first-ever “Santa’s Workshop and Lego Village Competition” event. Thanksgiving Holiday Closures Planned

Many of the City of Yakima’s facilities will be closed this Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and 23rd, for the Thanksgiving holiday. City Crews to Install Downtown Holiday Decorations

Crews from the City of Yakima will be installing approximately 80 lighted holiday decorations in Downtown Yakima on Tuesday morning, November 20th.  Traffic will be restricted at times to a single lane to permit City trucks and equipment access to overhead street light and utility poles during the installation. Road Repair to Close Section of Pacific Avenue

Downtown Holiday Tree Arrives Nov. 15th
