Project Requires Lane Closure on N. 16th Ave

North 16th Avenue will be one lane southbound on Friday, Nov. 1st, between Garfield Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue. The lane closure will be in effect from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm on Friday. The lane closure is required for improvements that include new curb, gutter, sidewalk and a driveway approach for a private development project.

City of Yakima Begins Nelson Phase 2 Pipeline Project

After final completion of the Nelson Dam removal and new irrigation diversion in 2022, phase 2 of the project is scheduled to begin. Interwest Construction, Inc. (ICI) of Burlington, WA is scheduled to start work today, Monday, October 14th.  Initial work will include mobilization of materials and equipment to the City of Yakima irrigation reservoir
