Project to Close Section of N. 6th Avenue

North 6th Avenue will be closed to traffic tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 7th, between I Street and River Road. The closure will be in effect from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Wednesday. Repair Requires Lane Closure on 72nd Avenue

The southbound lane of 72nd Avenue will be closed to traffic between Crown Crest Avenue and Coolidge Road from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 2nd. Changes Planned for Online City Utility Payments

City of Yakima Utility Services will transition from its current online payment provider, Invoice Cloud, to Paymentus. The transition is expected to take place during the month of February. City of Yakima Snow Route Alert in Effect

Due to considerable snowfall and hazardous road conditions, a Snow Route Alert has been issued by the City of Yakima.  This Snow Route Alert will remain in effect until further notice.  A key part of the Snow Route Alert protocol is to let drivers know they need to move their vehicles from designated snow routes.
