Work to Require Lane Closures at First Street and Yakima Avenue

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane each way Tuesday morning, June 10th, at the intersection of First Street and Yakima Avenue. Lane closures will be required for traffic signal improvements at the intersection from 7:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday. The traffic signal will be dark during this time, with stop signs posted


Traffic Revisions Planned for Aviation Day

Traffic revisions will be in place on Washington Avenue this Saturday, June 7th, for the second annual Yakima Aviation Day at Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field (YKM). On Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Washington Avenue will be one lane eastbound between 28th Avenue and 24th Avenue for Aviation Day parking. The left lane eastbound


Street Closure set for Yakima Mile

A section of Yakima Avenue will be closed this Saturday, June 7th, for the Downtown Yakima Mile event. Yakima Avenue will be closed between 16th Avenue and South 3rd Street for the Yakima Mile and event staging. Road closures will take place between 1:00 pm and 10:00 pm on June 7th. Flaggers will be on site

City’s Forestry Management Plan Now Available
