City of Yakima offices will be closed Wednesday, December 25th and Wednesday, January, 1st, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.
Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Emergency services will remain available.
The City of Yakima’s Municipal Court will be closed both days.
Yakima Police Department lobby hours will be open 10:00 am to `12:00 pm on Christmas Eve day, December 24th. YPD services by phone, 509-575-6200, will be available 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on December 24th. Non-emergent crimes can also be reported to YPD online at https://yakimapolice.org/
Yakima Transit will not provide bus service on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. Regular transit service will resume on December 26th and January 2nd.
There will be no City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. The City’s Refuse Division will operate on a one-day delay each of the next two weeks.
Lions Pool closes at 1:00 pm on December 24th and December 31st. The pool will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Lions Pool will resume its regular hours on December 26th and January 2nd.
The City’s Harman Center will be closed December 24th and 25th and on January 1st.
