Many of the City of Yakima’s services will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

City departments such as services located at Yakima City Hall and the Y-PAC building will be closed on Friday, July 3^rd, in observance of the holiday.

Yakima Transit will not provide bus service on Friday, July 3^rd. Regular service will resume Saturday, July 4^th.

However, since Independence Day is on Saturday, there will be no interruption for the City of Yakima garbage and yard waste pick-up services on Friday, July 3^rd.

City of Yakima services will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6^th, though City buildings and facilities will remain closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
