City of Yakima offices will be closed Friday, December 24^th, and Friday, December 31^st, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.

Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Emergency services will remain available.

Yakima Transit will provide reduced service Friday, December 24^th, and December 31^st. On those dates, Yakima Transit will operate all routes on the Saturday schedule and the service window will be closed. Yakima Transit will not provide bus service on Christmas Day or New Year Day.

City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on both December 24^th and December 31^st will continue as scheduled. There will be no delays in service. The City of Yakima Refuse Division office will be closed on those days.

Lions Pool closes at 1:00 pm on December 24^th and December 31^st. The pool will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

The City’s Harman Center will be closed December 24^th, December 25^th, December 31^st and January 1^st.
