City Seeks Proposals for Community Partnership Development Services

The City of Yakima seeks proposals from qualified non-profit firms, developers or individuals for the opportunity to enter into an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded partnership with the City for Community Partnership Development Services.

The City has published a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking non-profit partners to create grant proposals that meet varying community needs and that are consistent with the ARPA requirements.

Proposals must be submitted to Yakima City Clerk’s Office at City Hall by 11:00 am on Friday, August 19th.

The RFP is available at 12238P-Community-Partnership-Development-Services_7-12-22-ACM.pdf (yakimawa.gov)

There are also addendums to the RFP:

Because this project will be funded with ARPA funds, it is preferred that qualified applicants have experience successfully completing projects which incorporate federal requirements.

The ARPA grant includes $500,000 in funding for this project. The City intends to make multiple awards, not to exceed $100,000 each.

Inquiries regarding this RFP may be directed to the RFP Coordinator, Maria Mayhue, City of Yakima Purchasing Manager, at: Maria.Mayhue@yakimawa.gov
