A railroad track replacement project will require intermittent closures of the intersection at Fruitvale Boulevard and 6th Avenue next week.
Closures and detour routes will be in effect during project work hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm each day, Monday through Friday, October 16th-20th.
Access to properties in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.
Schedules for these types of projects are subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
