The intersection of 64th Avenue and Tieton Avenue will have temporary traffic restrictions on Monday, Oct. 20th, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. During that timeframe, left and right turns onto 64th from Tieton will be unavailable due to crosswalk updates planned in the area.
City of Yakima crews will widen the crosswalk at the intersection to accommodate pedestrians and golf carts, then remove an existing crosswalk just south of the intersection.
Signs will be posted at Nob Hill Boulevard to alert drivers.
The project will also require golfers to access the Westwood golf course from the south on Monday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.
