A project to replace curbing along a portion of South 1st Street between Russell Lane and Washington Avenue will impact traffic from Tuesday, May 31st to Thursday, June 2nd.

Southbound traffic on 1st Street will be restricted to one lane at times in the construction area between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.

Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained and traffic will be allowed through the project area when possible.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
