Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday, November 4th

Daylight Saving Time will officially end at 2:00 am on Sunday, November 4th. Clocks are set back one hour and many people set their clocks to “fall back” before they go to bed the night before, in this case Saturday, November 3rd.

When you change your clocks, the Yakima Fire Department suggests also testing smoke alarms and changing smoke alarm batteries.

And while you “fall back” this weekend, the National Safety Council also advises reviewing your family emergency plan, taking unwanted or expired medicines to a prescription drop box, and updating your first aid kit.

Daylight Saving Time will resume at 2:00 am on Sunday, March 10th, 2019 when clocks will “spring forward” one hour.
