An emergency stormwater manhole cover replacement project will impact traffic Thursday morning, June 23rd, at the intersection of South 72nd Avenue and Midvale Avenue.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the intersection during scheduled project work hours of 6:00 am and 11:00 am.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
