Fall Garden Webinar is November 6th

The Fall 2021 Heritage Garden workshop on Saturday, November 6th, will be in a webinar format due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions.

The free webinar is titled “Plants with a Purpose.” It will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Register online here

The Fall 2021 Heritage Garden Workshop/Webinar will feature the following presentations:

  • The Art of Creating a Hummingbird Sanctuary
  • Beautiful Safe Firewise Landscapes
  • The Pollination of Native Plants

The webinar is presented by the North & South Yakima Conservation Districts, as well as the Benton Conservation District. One of the webinar sponsors is the Yakima Basin Integrated Plan (YBIP) Municipal Water Conservation Committee, chaired by City of Yakima Assistant Director of Public Works David Brown.

This is the third Heritage Garden Workshop in a webinar format. They were previously held at the Yakima Area Arboretum before moving online due to COVID-19.
