Harman Center Closed Due to COVID-19 Restrictions

The City of Yakima Harman Center is closed until further notice due to temporary restrictions on activities announced today, Sunday, by Gov. Jay Inslee.

The restrictions are due to a recent spike in COVID-19 cases statewide.

The Harman Center re-opened in October for health and wellness classes after Yakima County advanced to Phase 2 of the state’s Safe Start Plan. The Center had previously been closed since March due to the pandemic.

The Yakima Health District reminds residents to take the following precautions:

  • Wear masks in public places
  • Keep 6 feet of distance between yourself and others
  • Avoid gathering with people outside your household
  • Stay home if sick and get tested
