For the first time in recent years, the City of Yakima’s Harman Center will host a Sweethearts Dance on Friday, February 9th.
“The Halloween Dance went so well last year, we decided to have a dance to celebrate Valentine’s Day,” said Recreation Program Supervisor Leslie Richards.
The dance is from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9th. Light refreshments will be served. There will be a charge of $3 per person or $5 per couple.
Rock and Roll DJ David Gotzh will provide live music during the Sweethearts Dance. “He does our ‘Reliving Rock & Roll’ every month and the seniors enjoy it so much,” Richards said. “They are welcome to bring their family, but the event will have more of a senior focus.”
