Many of the City of Yakima’s services will be closed Monday, May 25th, for Memorial Day.
Yakima Transit will not provide bus service Monday.
There will be no City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on Monday, May 25th. Garbage collection service schedules by the City’s Refuse Division will be delayed by one day next week. Those with service scheduled for Friday, May 29th, will instead have their garbage picked up on Saturday, May 30th.
The one-day delay next week also applies to yard waste.
To ensure proper service, residents are asked to have their carts set out by 6:00 am.
City of Yakima services will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th, though City buildings and facilities will remain closed due to COVID-19.
