Iron Chef Event, Matinee Dances Canceled Due to COVID-19 Concerns

Some upcoming events at the City of Yakima Harman Center are canceled due to concerns about COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus.

The events include:

  • The Iron Chef & Dance event scheduled for 1:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Friday, March 13th has been canceled.
  • The Harman Center’s matinee dances each Wednesday and Friday are canceled until further notice.

“The matinee dances are canceled for the foreseeable future out of concern for COVID-19,” said Recreation Program Supervisor Leslie Richards. “The Harman Center remains open and at this time other events will take place as scheduled.”
