A section of Englewood Avenue will be closed to traffic tomorrow, Tuesday, July 12th, so crews from the Yakima Tieton Irrigation District can repair an irrigation main.
The repair project will be on Englewood Avenue just west of North 40th Avenue. The anticipated project work hours tomorrow are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Traffic control will be set up for the road closure for Englewood Avenue, with signs and detours in place for drivers.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
