The Yakima City Council held its most recent regular agenda business meeting on Tuesday, June 18th. Action taken by the Council on June 18th included:
– Reading of a proclamation recognizing the 100th anniversary of the Yakima Trolley system
– Asking the Council Public Safety Committee for recommendations to deal with the presence of beggars and panhandlers
– Accepting a contract agreement with AFSCME Local 1122, a union representing 264 City Employees
– Accepting a status report on the Yakima Air Terminal budget
