Repairs to a damaged stormwater manhole cover will restrict traffic tomorrow, Wednesday, June 9th, on a section of Summitview Avenue.
Traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction on Summitview Avenue between 72nd Avenue and 74th Avenue so City of Yakima Wastewater Division crews can repair the manhole cover.
Traffic restrictions will be in effect during project work hours of 9:00 am to 1:00 pm tomorrow.
Drivers are reminded the speed limit is 20 miles per hour through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
