The Yakima City Council held its most recent regular agenda business meeting on Tuesday, March 19th. Action taken by the Council on March 19th included:
- Heard a presentation by theYakima Valley Trolleys Association and approved $13,630 for repair work on a trolley lift truck
- Adopted an ordinance establishing fines of up to 100-dollars a day for illegal dumping and overflowing garbage dumpsters by businesses and commercial property owners
- Conducted a public hearing on the 2012 CAPER – a report concerning how the City spends federal money on certain programs operated by the Office of Neighborhood Development Services
