Overnight Closures Needed for Nob Hill Blvd/Fair Ave Upgrades

The intersection of E. Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue will be closed to traffic overnight for several weeks starting Monday, October 13th

The intersection will be closed from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am nightly, Monday through Thursday. Detours will be posted. Access will be maintained to properties in the area. 

Overnight closures are required for several improvements planned for the intersection. They include a new traffic signal as well as reconstructing and widening the intersection with City water/stormwater improvements 

The intersection will be opened up each Friday morning for the weekend.  

This work will continue through mid-December and resume in March, weather dependent. The work is scheduled to be completed in June of 2026. 

The contractor awarded the project is Interwest Construction Inc. of Burlington. 

This $3,012,345 project is funded by a Federal Highway Administration Surface Transportation Block Grant, local utility and Transportation Benefit District funds.
