A grind and overlay project on Nob Hill Boulevard between 13^th Avenue and 29^th Avenue will again require overnight closures next week.

“The contractor is needs to go back to nights for this project one more week,” said Acting Construction Supervisor Dana Kallevig.

The 16-block of Nob Hill Boulevard will be closed from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday evenings, September 25-28.

“It’s possible that some closures will be required Friday night/Saturday morning,” said Kallevig.

The Nob Hill Boulevard resurfacing project began June 26^th and is expected to last until mid-October. Access to properties in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.

The schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.

Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
