Work at the intersection of Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue will require overnight lane closures starting Tuesday, October 7th.
Lane closures in the intersection are needed so crews from Crown Utilities can relocate existing utility poles for Lumen from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am nightly starting Tuesday. It is anticipated the project will require five nights to complete.
Flaggers will be on site to assist drivers during the lane closures.
The intersection of Nob Hill and Fair Avenue will have four-way flashing red lights, indicating it will temporarily be a four-way stop during project work hours each evening.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down in work zones, look out for workers and follow the posted speed limit.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
Call Construction Inspector Josh Gaub at 509-576-6464 for more about the project.
