Temporary traffic restrictions will be in place next Monday through Thursday, June 3rd through June 6th, on Fruitvale Boulevard from 40th Avenue to 39th Avenue.
The curb lane on Fruitvale Blvd in front of Denny’s Restaurant will be closed, restricting eastbound traffic to one lane as City of Yakima Street Department crews remove and pave asphalt on Fruitvale Boulevard between 40th Avenue and 39th Avenue.
The work will be done from approximately 6:00 am until 3:30 pm each day from June 3rd through June 6th.
Drivers can expect delays in the project area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
Access to businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
