Traffic on a section of South 1^st Street will be two lanes for three nights, starting on Tuesday, March 20^th.

Crown Utilities will install fiber optic cable for 102 E. Yakima Avenue. The work on behalf of Lumen will require installation under South 1^st Street at the intersection with Yakima Avenue.

Work will be conducted overnight from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am each of the next three nights, Tuesday through Thursday, March 20-22.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down in work zones, look out for workers and follow the posted speed limit.

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
