The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 21^st. 

Actions during the Oct. 21^st regular meeting agenda included: 

• Accepting Council Nominating Committee recommendations regarding appointments to boards, commissions and committees 

• Authorizing interlocal agreement with Washington Traffic Safety Commission for funding to provide traffic safety emphasis patrols  

• Receiving a report on the City’s response to 2025 Yakima Basin drought and future drought preparedness efforts
