A section of 64th Avenue will be reduced to one lane each direction tomorrow morning, Thursday, July 28th, for a stormwater manhole repair project.
The project will impact traffic on 64th Avenue between Tieton Drive and Nob Hill Boulevard during scheduled work hours of 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic through the work area.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until project completion.
The schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
