Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 28^th, City of Yakima crews will add one more traffic signal upgrade project, expected to be the last in a series of traffic signal head upgrades at intersections this summer.

Crews will be at the intersection of 5^th Avenue and Lincoln Avenue. Work will begin at 6:00 am tomorrow and be complete by 11:30 am.

The intersection will be reduced to a single lane of traffic in each direction, with stop signs posted in all directions. Signals at the intersection of 16^th and Fruitvale will be dark tomorrow during project work hours.

Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
