This Wednesday, August 14th, City of Yakima crews will continue a series of traffic signal head upgrades at intersections this summer.
Crews will be at the intersection of 16th Avenue and Summitview Avenue. As with previous signal upgrades, work will begin at 6:30 am tomorrow and be complete by 12:00 pm.
The intersection will be reduced to a single lane of traffic in each direction, with stop signs posted in all directions. Signals at the intersection of 16th and Summitview will be dark tomorrow during project work hours.
Past and future signal upgrades are planned at the following intersections:

Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
