Traffic signals at the intersection of 10th Avenue and West Nob Hill Boulevard will be shut down on Sunday, October 25th while work is done to upgrade the signal controller at that location.
City of Yakima signal crews will begin work around 8:30 am and the project is expected to be completed before noon. During that time, Yakima Police Department officers will be in place to direct traffic through the intersection.
Traffic delays in the area are likely to occur and drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
As always, schedules for these types of projects are subject to change because of weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
