The following lane/road closures will be required for a tree removal project this Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 17-18:
- Pierce Avenue: One lane between Lincoln Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd
- Jefferson Avenue: Closed between Pierce Avenue and Oregon Avenue
The above closures will be in effect from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm both Wednesday and Thursday.
Drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.
Access to homes and businesses in the areas will be maintained and traffic will be allowed through the project areas when possible.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
