The City of Yakima and Yakima County are approaching the final stages of the addendum to the 2007 Upper Yakima River Comprehensive Flood Hazard Management Plan (CFHMP), a long-range plan undertaken in response to the 2016 and 2017 Cowiche Creek flood overflows into the City of Yakima.
