In addition to youth programs, such as Beyond the Bell, the City of Yakima’s Washington Fruit Community Center (WFCC) is planning activities for adults and senior citizens.
From September 15th through October 14th, WFCC is hosting Zumba Gold classes for seniors each Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Zumba Fitness classes for adults will be held those same days from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Zumba classes at WFCC are $35 for the entire month-long course, or $5 per drop-in session.
On Monday, September 20th, WFCC will begin offering senior coffee and games from 9:00 am to 11:00 am each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There is a $1 drop-in charge for coffee and games participants.
