Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist George Will sat for a Q&A with area media today just moments before he took the Capitol Theatre stage for his appearance at the Yakima Town Hall Speaker Series.
The City of Yakima’s Public Affairs Channel, Y-PAC Channel 194, will air the interview in its entirety starting tonight at 10:00 pm.
“There’s no such thing as a dull moment in a continental nation,” Will said during the interview.
During the approximately 15-minute sit-down, Will touched on topics ranging from his biggest mistake as a journalist to his thoughts on the City of Yakima and its similarities to his home town in Illinois.
A well-known baseball fan, Will discussed the best player he’s ever seen and his pick as of now to win the 2017 World Series. Hint: it’s not his beloved Chicago Cubs.
