Yakima City Council August 18th Regular Meeting Preview

The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, August 18th, in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.

Agenda items for the August 18th regular meeting include:

  • Receiving a COVID-19 update
  • Reviewing the Downtown Association of Yakima’s 2019 Year-End Report
  • Holding a public hearing at 6:00 pm to consider amendments to a Development Agreement concerning property at 3111 Tieton Drive
  • Considering a Letter of Support for Yakima School District through Senator Patty Murray’s Digital Equity Act

The following precautions are in place for the August 18th regular meeting due to COVID-19:

  • The meeting will be conducted by speakerphone.
  • Since Yakima City Hall is closed to public access, no community members can attend in person.
  • E-mail ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov to provide written comment to the City Council. Written comments received by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, August 18th, will be provided to the City Council prior to the meeting.

Verbal comment will only be permitted during the public hearing at 6:00 pm. To comment during the public hearing:
