The Yakima City Council will conduct a series of public hearings next month related to the 2018 budget. The public will be able to see the 2018 Preliminary Budget starting Wednesday, November 1st, by clicking https://www.yakimawa.gov/services/finance/financial-reports/
The first hearing is Tuesday, November 7th, and pertains to the Ad Valorem (Property) Tax to be levied for collection in 2018.
Two public hearings will then be held for the 2018 Preliminary Budget for the City of Yakima. Those hearings are Tuesday, November 21st, and Tuesday, December 5th.
All three hearings will be at 6:30 pm during the City Council’s regular business meetings on those respective nights. The Council’s business meetings start at 6:00 pm.
The regular business meetings and Preliminary Budget Hearings will air live on the Yakima Public Affairs Channel, Charter Cable Channel 194, and be streamed live on the City of Yakima website – http://www.yakimawa.gov/
