Yakima City Council January 15th Regular Meeting Review

The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, January 15th.

Action by the Council yesterday included:

  • Authorizing a feasibility study agreement for an outdoor community swimming pool at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
  • Receiving a report from the Council Economic Development Committee.
  • Receiving a presentation on community policing efforts.
  • Authorizing the formation of a City of Yakima Coordinated Community Response Team.

City Council meetings air live on the Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC) Charter Cable Channel 194. The January 15th meeting is being replayed on Channel 194 at 7:00 pm tonight, January 16th.

The Yakima City Council’s next regular meeting will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 5th.

The Council will also meet next Tuesday, January 22nd, at 6:00 pm to preview the agenda for the February 5th regular meeting.
