The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, January 19th.
Action taken by the Council yesterday included:
- Receiving a COVID-19 update
- Entering into an agreement with Yakima County Development Association (YCDA) to provide $266,406.76 in Community Development Block Grant funds to microenterprises in the city affected by COVID-19
- Re-instating public comment on City Council meeting agenda items beginning with the February 2nd regular meeting, providing up to two minutes and 30 seconds per speaker with a maximum of 35 minutes per meeting in total

The City Council’s next regular meeting is Tuesday, February 2nd, at 5:30 pm.
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.
