The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, June 19th.
Action by the Council on June 19th included:
- Directing City staff to prepare and present at the Council’s next regular meeting all necessary steps to place the following measure on the 2018 general election ballot for an advisory vote: “Should the City of Yakima construct a community plaza on the parking lot directly west of the Capitol Theatre.”
- Amending the Municipal Code relating to dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs
- Approving the final report for the City’s public safety forums.
- Approving appointments to the Planning Commission, Community Review Board, Tree City USA Board, Henry Beauchamp Community Center Advisory Board, and Parks and Recreation Commission.
