The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 18th.

Action during the Council meeting included:

  • Introducing Assistant City Manager Gary Ballew
  • Accepting Yakima County Supporting Investments in Economic Development (SIED) funding for Capital Improvement projects at Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field
  • Granting a non-exclusive franchise to Gigabeam Internet, LLC to construct, operate and maintain a telecommunications system in the City of Yakima
