Yakima City Council March 20th Business Meeting Review

The Yakima City Council held a regular business meeting yesterday, Tuesday, March 20th.

Action by the Council on March 20th included:

  • Introducing new Deputy Fire Chief Aaron Markham.
  • Proclaiming Cesar Chavez Day on Saturday, March 31st.
  • Asking City staff to draft a revised ordinance for dangerous dogs.
  • Approving appointments to the City’s Community Review Board, Planning Commission and Community Integration Committee.

Yakima City Council meetings air live on Charter Cable Channel 194. The March 20th meeting will be replayed at 7:00 p.m. tonight, March 21st. The meeting will be shown again at 9:00 a.m. on the following Saturday and Sunday, March 24th and 25th.

The Council’s next regular business meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3rd.

The meeting will be in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North Second Street.
