The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, March 3rd.
Action taken by the Council yesterday included:
- Receiving the Yakima Valley Tourism 2019 Annual Report
- Authorizing the Tahoma Cemetery Blue Star Memorial Agreement
- Amending Yakima Municipal Code Title 5 – Licenses and Businesses
- Receiving a report on status and recommendations for revenue of HB 1406 (Affordable Housing Funding)

The Yakima City Council’s next meetings are:
- A regular meeting on Tuesday, March 17th, at 5:30 pm.
- A special meeting/listening session on Tuesday, March 24th, at 5:30 pm to ask for public input on the impact of the Astria Hospital closure.
