The Yakima City Council held its most recent regular agenda business meeting on Tuesday, August 5th, 2014
Action taken by the Council on August 5th included:
– Approval of amendments to the City Council’s Rules of Procedure
– Withdrawing from the Yakima Valley Office of Emergency Management
– Referring possible changes to business sign regulations to the Council’s Built Environment Committee
– Approval of a new 10-year franchise agreement with Charter Communications
– Maintaining current policy for the placement and regulation of political signs
