The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, September 21st.
Action taken by the Council yesterday included:
- Making appointments to City of Yakima boards and committees
- Discussing a Yakima Valley Conference of Governments letter to Yakima County Commissioners regarding administration of funds for a program assisting those who experience homelessness
- Authorizing City staff to apply for a grant through the Environmental Protection Agency to support anaerobic digestion in communities
- Receiving an update on community-wide cost sharing and utilization of City of Yakima SWAT throughout Yakima County

The City Council’s next meeting is a study session on Tuesday, September 28th at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held remotely via Zoom. It will air live on Y-PAC and be streamed live on the City of Yakima website at https://www.yakimawa.gov/council/live-stream/
